BETT Awards – Secondary Digital Content

“A distinctive resource underpinned with robust evidence of the impact it makes”

GCSEPod has been awarded a prestigious Bett award in the ‘Secondary, Further Education & Skills Digital Content’ category. Coinciding with Bett, the world’s largest technology in education event, the awards are considered the highest accolade in education technology. The Bett Awards play a key role in identifying and rewarding innovative ICT resources and services for use in education. The winning organisations were announced at the Bett Awards dinner in London on Wednesday 21 January 2015.

The judges were very impressed with how GCSEPod matches the curriculum, engages students and supports independent learning.

They commented, “It is accessible and inclusive: a distinctive resource underpinned with robust evidence of the impact it makes. It provides valuable user guidance, information and flexibility for the teacher.”

Anthony Coxon, co-founder of Soundbitelearning said: “I’m unbelievably pleased and proud to accept this Bett Award, the ‘Oscar’ of education technology, on behalf of our team, who work incredibly hard and passionately about what they do so well.”
