Student takes on revision role

A sixth form student at Uttoxeter’s only high school has broken new ground in his role helping younger pupils use mobile technology to prepare for their exams.

Thomas Alleyne’s High School pupil Tom Hollins has become the first sixth former in the UK to take on the role of GCSEPod lead in a secondary school. Tom, who began his sixth form studies in September, has been entrusted with the responsibility of helping year 10 and 11 students prepare for their GCSEs using the technology.
